Discover the art of drawing portraits by learning all about the structure of the human head and how to place the features into position with a step-by-step method. Using shading to create value and form, students will work towards capturing a likeness while drawing a professional model in the afternoon. Suitable for all skill levels.

Join local arts educator and poet Sheniz Janmohamed for a summer edition of Chai & Write. This reflective workshop invites participants to explore the warmth of the season through creative prompts and poetic expression. Enjoy a guided tour of the Varley’s latest exhibitions, write list poems inspired by cherished summer memories, and take a colour walk through Toogood Pond to create your own nature art. No writing experience required.
