About the Exhibition

Hop aboard for an artistic adventure across time and place! 

From steamships to camper vans, artists have traveled far and wide, gathering the experiences that fuel their creativity. This exhibition traces their journeys, from 19th-century Europe to 20th-century Canada to 21st-century Tibet, revealing how diverse landscapes and encounters continue to inspire artists and challenge our perceptions of the world. 

As with all our collections-based exhibitions, All Aboard! draws from our holdings to bring these journeys to light, offering fresh insights into overlooked pieces and showcasing works being displayed for the first time.
