Important Notice: Courtyard Renewal Project 2024

The Varley Art Gallery is embarking on an exciting courtyard renewal project.

This will involve maintenance and repair of existing pavers in the covered arcades. It will also involve a complete repaving of the main open courtyard and adjacent accessibility parking lot. The new pavers will align with the sidewalk design of the City’s Main Street Unionville Restoration Project, scheduled to begin in 2025.

The Varley Courtyard Project will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024 and is expected to last two weeks. During this time the Gallery will maintain regular public hours (see below) for visitors. There will be fencing around the courtyard, but you will still be able to access the Gallery through the arcades and the main front doors (please refer to the below map).

We apologize in advance for any inconvenience that may be caused by this renewal project. We aim to have the work finished as quickly as possible.
