About the Program
Spend a day exploring exhibitions across the GTA with guided visits and conversation.
Begin at the Aga Khan Museum with the Toronto Biennial of Art, featuring Dawit L. Petros and his installation Emergent Formations, 2026.
Continue to the Varley Art Gallery for a guided tour of I Think This Means I Could Fly, exploring mythology, Black surrealisms, and the formation and inheritance of truth.
The tour then travels to the Doris McCarthy Gallery for Cartographies of Longing, bringing together artists whose works consider ancestry, migration, memory, and connections to place, before returning to the Aga Khan Museum to conclude the day.
Note: Participants are encouraged to bring a packed lunch and snacks to enjoy between stops and to dress comfortably for a full day of travel and gallery visits.
